Private Piano Lessons
Tara has taught piano to students of all ages and levels since 2001. Beginning in June, she will offer lessons in her home in Hopewell, NJ. For beginning students, she uses well-known method books to teach rudiments of sight-reading, hand position, and music theory. More advanced students learn jazz improvisation, written music in the jazz style, jazz lead sheets and chord symbols, playing by ear, and scales and finger exercises. Summer hours are available. Contact Tara for a detailed lesson policy and any inquiries.
Tara also teaches at Westminster Conservatory in Princeton, NJ. Limited summer hours are available. Next fall, she will have openings on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. To inquire, please call (609) 921-7104.
